I decided I wanted to create a manual food tracker using Excel, and so, I had ChatGPT help me create a tracker layout that would work best with a sum function to total everything for each day.
It took a little bit of editing and playing with the layout before I got it the way I wanted it.
I tracked my day yesterday and it appears I have myself on the right track with my food choices. I do struggle with the evening munchies, though. Nonetheless, I am grateful to see that tiny meals through the day have been helping me satisfy my overall hunger.
Points to Note:
- Watching portion sizes is very important.
- Starting the day with a protein shake is a great start to the day, especially because I am too busy to cook this early. It is also adding the right amount of protein for reaching daily goals.
- The struggle is real when it comes to impulse control over food.
- My routine may not be perfect yet, but I am doing much better with my weight management choices than I was before. Not all progress has to be instantaneous.
I am not sure if I will update Angela’s Journey over the weekend. Mostly because I have no idea what my plans will be outside of having no real responsibilities again until Monday. My mental health requires me to have those two days for recharging. We’ll see.
