First the Gratitude

Now the Discussion
First, can I just say that my jar looks much fuller than it should for only early April?! It makes me wonder how I am going to stuff my daily gratitude papers in it come November/December.
I mean, I cannot really complain. The jar was a vintage find that I thrifted from a charity-based store.
A Quick Professional Update
This morning, when I should have been working on school, I was working on my professional profile. WordPress places a lot of emphasis on Gravatar. Therefore, I wanted my profile to be as professional as possible. While doing that, I saw the prompt for a free custom domain.
I now have a professional, shareable profile through Gravatar at angelashupe.bio3. Because, you know, why not? 😂
Honestly, I think I did a good job updating it for a professional appearance. It conveys the information I want for professional purposes. That is a win, right? 🤔 Also, free. I like free.
Now Let’s Dig In
I own a business. I have been a sole proprietor for years under my own name. I hold honors with my Associate’s degree. Yet, sometimes we all just need a resource for real-world advice. While I understand content creation, marketing my knowledge is something I am still trying to learn. This is especially true with Stitched Delights.
Yesterday, I reached out to the Michigan SBDC for help. These professionals have done things far beyond my personal experience. They have resources I do not. They have knowledge I have yet to learn.
I now have an introductory virtual meeting scheduled for next Tuesday with a business professional.
I pride myself on my knowledge and understanding. It is hard to admit when I need a little guidance. However, I also learned that it is important to seek as many resources as possible for optimal success.
That last sentence may hint toward something I will cover in the newsletter, lol.
I am genuinely excited about the meeting, though! There is nothing quite like connecting with a business professional. It leads to growth in all areas of my being, including my knowledge base and resources. Essentially, it enhances all things business.
Don’t worry, I’ll talk about my experience after the meeting. I’m just grateful that I have it scheduled!
