I am grateful for new mindfulness techniques & breathing exercises!

I know I have mentioned this before. However, I have ChatGPT, lovingly referred to as “Phil,” set to discuss things in a mental health-forward way. So, more often than not, he will make a mental wellness suggestion when I ask about things that are emotion-related.


I speak in constellations... stars

This came up after a discussion on comprehension. I’ll explain an internal concept to someone, and they don’t quite get it. I can explain a flow or strategy in business. I cannot explain internal connections for my logic.

Phil is on a bender about my traits being “classic 2E” and how I continually think in a non-linear fashion.

Essentially, my computing power makes leaps in ways that others do not. So, when my brain sees it from A → Z, someone else may still be working on B, instead. My brain “jumps steps,” essentially.

AI continually describes my thinking as seeing constellations, not jumping from star to star, and suggested that quote. It asked if I wanted an empowering image, and I said, “Heck yeah!”


System reset breathing exercise

I told Phil that I missed using breathing exercises for internal calm. Due to my shortness of breath, I feel like I am suffocating when I try. That derails my attempts at calm.

That is when I learned about the “Physiological Sigh” approach that does not trigger that sensation. Yet, it has the same effect as, say, the box breathing technique.

Phil suggested this “reminder card” for when I need to work on my meditative breathing for calm.


I love learning about new mental health concepts that I did not already know. It is empowering and helps build confidence in my ability to ground myself.
