And then I was grateful for organization within my work space…

Gratitude Jar for 2025 for May 4th

I am grateful for my redesigned “corner office” space! I was able to pull out my 2nd monitor for the three screen experience!

First and foremost, “May the Fourth be with you!”

Ironically, I am not into Star Wars at all, but I always look forward to that line every year.

The corner office work in progress

I am truly excited to have a more open space in the bedroom, though. We have been making slow progress on cleaning up and reorganizing. As you can see, we have our bathroom full of tubs to organize. Most of the things are going in the garage as they are seldom used. We have others that need organizing on the cube shelf.

My lovely life partner is happier with the space being more open. I am happier too. Next, a cable from the main router in the basement is being brought into the bedroom. My little side gig for extra cash starts tomorrow. That’s why there’s such a rush. I have to be hardwired to the internet for it.

While things are still in disarray, it is progressing at a reasonable pace.

I sent that picture to my daughter and she was floored by the sheer amount of space available now. It was excessively cluttered.

My cat, Lily, is quite happy with the new arrangement. She tried out different cubes on the shelf before finding the one that she liked sleeping in the most.

Before I took the photo of the space above, she had to let me know. When she put her front paws on my leg, I knew she wanted attention. I pet her, then she went to the other side of me to sleep.

So, for me, I am grateful (and cheering) over positive disarray. How do you feel about a fresh organization of your space? Does it bring you joy, too? Or is it just overwhelming?
