A works-in-progress Wednesday check-in on monetizing impact, managing health, and merging school with small business life
I’ve been the rat on the wheel behind the scenes of Stitched Business Solutions. I’ve been working hard to forge ahead. I want to keep something going, while accounting for bad health days.
My first week of macroeconomics was last week. I assure you, I didn’t need college to tell me that a business needs income to support itself.
Simply, I’m realizing that my energy levels are crashing despite attempts to maintain momentum.
This brings me to…
Passive Income to Support Business Goals
Planning the writing of a book around brain fog, school, pain, and sensory overload is taking its toll. I’m lucky when I manage a free printable for everyone.
In a serious attempt to cover finances from running my business, I have integrated WordAds through WordPress.
I’d used their ads in the past for revenue, but stopped before relaunching as Stitched Business Solutions. Then, apparently, I didn’t turn them completely off. When I realized this, I turned on the “pause” feature.
As you’re likely aware, I unpaused them before writing this post.
There is no cost to you beyond seeing the ad. Yet, it helps me continue expanding my list of free printable tools for entrepreneurs like you!
At The Crux Of It All? Health Battles Continue
I have timers set to record how long I have sat without moving. This helps me manage my chronic pain and keep blood flowing through my legs.
It has become a necessity, but I believe I have this aspect mostly managed.
I’m struggling to work through the various symptoms I experience from Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH), though.

Some days can be really challenging.
That is the biggest reason for using advertising. I’m not in a position to complete large projects. I have to accept that there is no “get rich quick” in my business strategy. Not while I work on my physical wellness, anyway.
Tomorrow I have an appointment with an ophthalmologist for a second opinion.
The last was an unprofessional man who shamed me for being in pain with photophobia.
This one came highly recommended. I hope he will launch me to better health.
The World Of Macroeconomics, and Those Who Wish It Wasn’t A Course
Economics isn’t just one course. At UOPx, they have microeconomics for five weeks and macroeconomics for another five weeks.
While I understood the concepts already, I didn’t enjoy anything involving numbers. Now, in the second week of macroeconomics, that remains true.
My dislike does not undercut the lessons, though. These are concepts every business owner should understand. They absolutely apply to profitability and the overall industry for any product or service.
Now I pose this question to you: What do you know about micro and macroeconomics? What do you wish you knew more about?
Let’s start a discussion below and see where it goes!
Final Thoughts
I’d like to take a moment to say thank you. Because of you, I can continue pursuing my passion: helping entrepreneurs help themselves!
It takes an audience to care. The more people who find interest in my work, the more people it will reach.
