What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?

Hands down, the holiday I love the most is New Year’s Eve/Day. You see, it suits my mentality in a way that no other holiday can. It encompasses new beginnings and change!

A holiday that focuses on starting fresh is beyond appealing. Setting new goals and objectives for a better life is hard not to like. That positivity resonates with me.

I have a full tradition of celebrating with a cranberry juice and Sprite mixed drink and watching the ball drop. I like to start watching Times Square the moment they start broadcasting. I feel the warm fuzzies when I watch all the proposals, and they interview the people there. Social anxiety aside, I really want to go just once. I want to see it all live, in person.

That is why I do things like my Gratitude Jar 2025. The idea of starting something fresh and creating a year-long goal resonates with me.
