I am grateful I will turn 40 in exactly one month with my associate’s dream long done & certification complete!
It took me a little while to find the right gratitude to share today. I’m grateful, but nothing felt right. It had nothing to do with business, actually. It had everything to do with wanting to be grateful within myself.
I had been ignoring one of my daily mindful practices. I kept skipping past acknowledging one thing I love about myself. I was skipping self-love. That is no good. Especially for someone who is newly discovering that internal appreciation.
I am listening to a podcast called Let’s Talk Business. The gems within have been inspiring me. I’ve also found they promoted an internal calm—mind, body, and soul. I’m crocheting a bandana as a hair accessory. I’m listening. I finished school and just didn’t want to stop integrating business information into my day yet.
Midway through the third episode I have played, Episode #160 with Mark Stern, I had a realization. It struck me that this is what I felt most grateful for.
I was always so happy when I buried myself in business. I love any information I can collect. I love to analyze what I learn. I love to break it down and process it for others into the written word.
I’m doing all of this before 40. This is what I am most grateful for. Outside of raising such an amazing daughter, this is my biggest accomplishment. I am doing it before this huge milestone!
I will not have the certification in hand before I turn 40. Still, the last class finishes on the day after my 40th birthday.
It still counts, okay!
The associate’s I never thought would happen duplicated into a certification before 40. It will become a BSB, with the last class of that degree finishing on my 41st birthday.
I am growing by leaps and bounds. I am resilient. I am using my strongest medium (writing) to get there!
Yes, I am grateful. This milestone matters. Do you have any milestones approaching, too? Tell me what you are grateful for as they approach.
Have a great day, everyone, and enjoy the upcoming weekend!
